Summer vacations – family fun and cookouts.

Deputy Mayor Millard “Mudd” Murphy and Trustee Kenneth Sherman will return to the Board of Trustees.

Code Enforcement 

Please contact Ed Cusato, Codes Officer at 315-243-9568 for all building permits or code enforcement complaints. Lawn upkeep is essential to prevent pests and mosquito issues.

With the heat of Summer upon us, a reminder to residents – a swimming pool permit is required for all pools with water depths of 24 inches or more.

REMINDER: “flushable” wipes can NOT be disposed of into the sewer. Violation of our village law can carry up to a $1,000 fine per incident. GRASS CLIPPINGS will not be picked up. Brush pickup will resume in September. 

Please keep storm drains clear of debris all year round and during the summer rainstorms.

Road Construction season is here…Please pay attention to traffic pattern changes and keep road crews safe.

The Village of Central Square and Town of Hastings are proud to present our 2024 Summer Recreation Program July 8th-26th, weekdays, 9am - noon daily. I will be serving as the director for the fourth year and am excited to grow the program! Campers will make endless crafts, play a multitude of games, and enjoy events and presentations from people in our community. This program is free of charge.
